On March 8, 2021, Consumer Convenience Technologies (CCT) of Ohio, USA, announced the successful development of a 63mm diameter aluminum EOE with a button, which is said to be compatible with conventional iron claw-type screw caps. The shelf life of the lid is the same, and the opening force and weight are reduced by 40% and 48% respectively compared with the latter, which can greatly improve the consumer's can opening experience. It is understood that the Eeasy aluminum claw-type screw cap is a new member of CCT's Eeasy bottle cap product series.
